With HR professionals across the globe being faced by an increasingly immense set of challenges to overcome, and with concern over the length and depth of the current crisis ongoing, a new study lead by Professor Doug Ready has set out to help HR teams navigate these fast changing times.
Contrary to the apocalyptic view of the future that many have been quick to take, the majority of respondents to the study actually said that they have embraced the crisis as an opportunity. Numerous companies interviewed had already begun implementing projects to reshape their organisation and take advantage of the turbulent times.Concerns however, naturally still abound; the scope of the crisis, after all, is beyond what most HR professionals have encountered before. This is why, based on responses to the study, Ready and his team are developing a matrix that will guide HR teams towards contributing more to their company and, in turn, optimising their own value.
